Do I need a visa for Switzerland?

Visa requirements depend on your nationality. In most cases, you will apply for a Schengen visa, which allows you to travel to 29 European countries. We recommend applying for a visa well in advance of your trip and getting help from a visa center

What documents do I need for entry?

In addition to a valid visa, you need a passport that is valid for at least three months beyond the end of your trip. You may also need to provide proof of accommodation and sufficient funds.

Yes, public transport in Switzerland is very safe and reliable. Some people say it’s the best in the world 😊 

Are seats on panoramic trains easy to get?

Panoramic trains are very popular and not all of the run all year round.
That said, the earlier you book with us, the higher the chance to get a seat.
For small groups we can normally arrange something with a 4 week notice but you might not be able to seats next to each other.

Most people do speak English, especially in the cities and common tourist places.
Next to German, French and Italian (the official languages in Switzerland), English is the most common language.

Are the tours suitable for all age groups?

All our tours are suitable for all age groups. Our hiking tours do require a certain fitness level, though. If you are traveling with small children or people with disabilities, please let us know and we will make the needed arrangements.

Switzerland is worth a visit all year round. It depends also on what your plans are. We offer special winter and summer tours, which are adjusted to the season.
Winter is not too cold and summer not too hot either.

We work with a wide range of different hotels and accommodations depending on your budget. All our predefined tours include 2- to 3-star hotels. Compared to most other countries, the hotel standards are generally higher.
